Federica Gregoratto
Federica Gregoratto (Palmanova, 1983) received her scientific high school diploma in 2002; in 2006 she received a B.A. and in 2008 a M.A. from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. During the academic year 2007-2008 she held an Erasmus studentship and was visiting student in Frankfurt, at the Goethe Universität and at the Institut für Sozialforschung.
From 2009 to 2012 she won a Doctoral Research Fellowship from the Department of Philosophy and Science Theory of Venice, where she worked under the supervision of Prof. Dr. L. Cortella; from September 2009 she was also visiting scholar at the Institute of Philosophy and at the Institute of Political Science at the Frankfurt University, participating in the Kolloquium of Prof. Dr. A. Honneth, Prof. Dr. R. Forst and Prof. Dr. C. Menke.
In April 2012 she earned a PhD with a Dissertation-Thesis entitled: “Discorso della critica. Saggio su Jürgen Habermas” [Discourse of Critique. An Essay on Jürgen Habermas].
Her areas of specialization and interest include: Critical Theories, Genealogy, Recognition and Subject Theories, German Idealism, Human Rights and International Relationships, Feminism.
